The beginning of the end for nanny cars.

We have been told that we should allow ourselves to be monitored and controlled in all things "for our own good".  After all, they tell us, some extremely unlikely event (like serious muslim terror in the US) will probably happen to each of us and as a result we should just take our hands off the wheel and let nanny state government control us and our lives.

Well, that is literally being proven to be a foolish idea as hackers prove that they can take full remote control of a Jeep Cherokee and do whatever they want with it including steering the damned thing.  Stuff like this was done before and nobody seemed to notice, nobody seemed to care.  But not no more folks.  Not no more.  People are going to look at this and swear that the last car they would ever consider is one with all of these remote nanny control features.  NOT having these stupid fucking features is going to be a playing a major role in future buying decisions.  Government can state that they want this or that but if the consumers don't buy it then it will all fail because government does not control the people or the economy.  It only SEEMS like they do at times.  Sometimes for decades.  We are now at the very end a such a cycle and from here on it is all down hill for the automated, government owned monitoring and control scammers.

When the herd votes with its feet, the cowboys listen because without the herd, the cowboys are just a bunch of starving useless dirt bags.
