Obvious sign of the end game of the debt Ponzi.

I have along standing prediction that the criminal elements of government, corporations, bankers and military (i.e. the military industrial complex) will come tumbling down from their seemingly unassailable heights as the amount of GDP increase that is purchased by debt falls to zero and then eventually negative; ye olde point of negative return is now upon us folks.  As long time reader Augustine predicted recently, the emissionsgate (hey Nixon, you POS, how do you like it that every scam from your time until now has evoked the Watergate scandal!!  What a legacy you lying, cheating liberal GOP POS!!  Where is your grave?  I need to take a leak.) scandal was not contained to VW.  They were just the first to get caught and that has started an avalanche of admissions.  Now it seems that 3+ million cars from Audi and Skoda are now affected as well.  Oh, the skeletons!!  LOL!

This is beyond hilarious.  What, was the emissions cheating code downloaded from Google play??  How can they all have this code.  Could it be...... A CONSPIRACY??   HA HA!  Furthermore, WinterKorn thought he was just going to be able to slink away with a big chunk of freshly killed baby water buffalo in his chops but from that link we see that he is being looked at now by German prosecutors.  I predict he will end up in jail because if not the people are going to see that there is no rule of law and the remaining oligarchs know that this will result in civil unrest at some point.

The time for liberal assholes getting away with everything is OVER.   O-VER.  DONE .  Kaput!  Finito!  Quick, someone come up with a word that means the opposite of Teflon because that is what these guys are going to be made of soon.  Lawsuit magnet?  Naw, it doesn't sing.  Anyway you get the point.  The conspiratorial criminal enterprise that is the unholy alliance of big government, big corporations and big banks and big war all working against the people is falling faster and harder than a construction crane kneeling for the afternoon prayer in Mecca.  Big names are headed for the slam and I don't just mean because of emissionsgate.  This is the pithy, fluffy high tip of the iceberg.  Far more substantial revelations await us and they will reach into the highest levels of the military industrial complex.

The more of these criminals that get caught, the more will be caught.  You know why?  Because they have bragged to each other during social events. The elite cannot help themselves but to tell each other how stupid and gullible the rest of us are so as to boost their own little egos.  The poster child for this mentality was Obamacare architect Gruber.  Well, just like any criminal enterprise, when one capo is going down for hard time all the feds have to do is suggest that he roll over on someone else for an even larger crime and he will get some leniency in sentencing.  Otherwise the key will be tossed in the river after slamming the cell door shut.  It is just going to be a glorious time for federal prosecutors even though they are dirty in their own way.  But they will step up and pick this low hanging fruit and then strut around like the saviors of the common man.

Buffett said we will see who is skinny dipping when the tide goes out and folks, the bay is emptying quickly.

In all fairness, both Audi and Skoda are VW brands and, so far, only those models which used the 2.0 I4 Euro 5 VW diesel engine. The V6 and V8 diesel engines designed by Audi haven't figured as suspects at this time.

But I do think that other carmakers will be accused of the same. A few years ago Fiat was caught with an emissions test detection in the software of one of its gasoline engines in Brazil and it was slapped with fines too. Since Brazil adopted the European emissions limits, I have to wonder if Fiat wasn't doing the same in the same engine made in Italy and, if Fiat did it then, are it or other carmakers doing it?

It came out that Bosch, the supplier of the engine computer, provided the software containing the cheat to VW for testing purposes and big warnings that using it in production would be illegal. Yet VW put it in production and backed it with a warranty. One might wonder why Bosch invested many hours in the lab tuning the engine map to create the cheat feature. If it ware the case, a letter accompanying the test software could provide Bosch with plausible deniability while conniving to circumvent the law. Since Bosch is the major supplier of diesel injection systems, I wonder how many other carmakers got the test version of their engine maps in production too.

Some news outlets seem to have quoted VW saying that the extra hardware to abide by the exhaust emissions would cost upwards of €300 or $500 at the time. This would translate into a total premium for the diesel option of about $2000, probably pushing a Golf TDI way above its market class.
